Phase I - Survey Results

Categories

Respondents were invited to drag and drop pins (categories) onto any location within the study area of the map and leave a comment. 735 different markers/comments were placed. Each pin was customized so respondents could classify the nature of their comment. Respondents could drop a pin and leave a comment as many times as they wanted.

Below illustrate the most popular categories (pins dropped) and have been divided and tallied up for each section of the study area. The numbers in the key/legend represent the number of responses/pin drops (click on each image to enlarge).

Themes

After dropping a pin, participants were also free to leave a comment highlighting any particular issues they had at that particular point. Every comment was scanned and the key issues emerging from each comment was recorded and tallied up for each section of the engagement area.

These sections were further broken down into key links and junctions for each section in the post-engagement analysis (click on each image to enlarge). Each category (pin) that was drag and dropped by participants has been plotted on the map near key junctions and links.
